2008 Year-End Offering

2008 Year-End Gift

The SappiasIn May 2008, Alliance people responded in an amazing way to the Great Commission Sunday offering. Because of your faithful giving, John and Lisa Sappia are now in Paraguay, serving as your missionaries to people who need Christ. And several church plants have received start-up grants to reach out to people in communities across the United States.

“The Great Commission Fund is more than a fund, it's people. It's us. It's our team in Paraguay.”
—John Sappia

More than 900 workers appointed under International Ministries in the United States serve with the C&MA around the world. At least 81 countries have C&MA work going on within their borders. Sixty-one of these countries have U.S. GCF-funded/partially funded C&MA personnel. They thank God for all who give to the GCF, which enables them to bring the message of Jesus and His love to lost people.

Gifts to the GCF provide YOUR missionaries with…

  • monthly income to live & support their familes
  • health & retirement services
  • housing
  • schooling for their children
  • travel & ministry expenses
  • language study

Dear Friends,

I wish I could visit each of your churches and personally thank you for your faithful giving. Your gifts to the Great Commission Fund enable your missionaries to reach lost people for Christ, train national leaders, provide medical help to needy patients, and more. And it provides money to help start new Alliance churches in the United States.

Throughout the history of The Alliance, people like you have answered the call to support this mighty movement of God. I trust that this Christmas season you will continue to give generously to Alliance workers who are reaching the world for Christ.

Living the Call Together,
